The winner for healthiest (and tastiest) snack goes to....POPCORN!

Popcorn Buckets with Kernel Catcher

Popcorn - the perfect snack for a cozy night of binge watching. With the right flavorings and a stylish popcorn bowl, you can enjoy a delicious version that brings that movie-theatre feeling right to your couch.

To make the most of this filling whole grain snack, avoid prepackaged popcorn and pop your own. The difference can be hundreds (yes, we said hundreds) of calories! In fact, 1 cup of plain popped popcorn has only 30 calories.

To pop your own, use an air popper or try this popcorn recipe hack:

Mix 3-4 tablespoons of unpopped kernels with a very small amount (1/8 - 1/4 teaspoon) of Olive Oil. Place in a brown paper bag. Fold the top over at least twice to make a tight seal. Microwave on high for approximately 2 minutes or until you hear a few seconds between pops. Turn the microwave off to prevent scorching of the bag. Carefully remove the bag from the microwave and carefully open the bag. Watch out for hot steam!

Eat it plain or add some flavorings to bring your popcorn to a whole other level!
Try these toppings that you can simply sprinkle and mix. Choose from sweet or savory.

• Salt & olive oil

• Italian seasoning

• Grated parmesean

• Crumbled seaweed wrappers

• Chilli powder and lime juice

• Cayenne pepper, paprika, and cumin

• Sugar & cinnamon

• Chocolate chips or chocolate shavings

• Drizzle of honey

Of course, there will always be those few pesky kernels that don't pop. Well, we've got you covered! The Hutzler popcorn bucket and Hutzler popcorn bowl each feature a removable kernel catcher that collects those unpopped kernels and keeps them out of your way. The Popcorn Bucket is sized for sharing while the Popcorn Bowls are individually sized. Great for indoor and outdoor use, this popcorn serveware is ideal for poolside snacks and outdoor movies, too. Hey... we're thinking Spring!
